Bu çal\u0131\u015fma, sanat ile mühendislik aras\u0131ndaki s\u0131n\u0131r\u0131 silen karma\u015f\u0131k bir mekanizma olan Malina’n\u0131n Système Lumidyne’iyle yap\u0131lan ilk resimdir.<\/p>\n

Malina, büyük ço\u011funlu\u011funu 1956-1963 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda tasarlay\u0131p yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 eserlerinde, bu çok yönlü sistemle 100’den fazla i\u015fe imza atm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Sistem \u0131\u015f\u0131klar, motorlar, yar\u0131-\u015feffaf bir ekran ve genellikle camdan olu\u015fan \u015feffaf bir levhadan meydana gelir. Motorlarda çe\u015fitli renklere boyanm\u0131\u015f, slaytlar, aç\u0131lar, dönme talimatlar\u0131 ve h\u0131zlarda hareketli, genellikle plastik diskler yer al\u0131r. Ustlerinde parlak \u0131\u015f\u0131k efektleri vermesi için saydam ya\u011fl\u0131boya kullan\u0131l\u0131rken, opak renkler \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131 engellemektedir.<\/p>\n

Point Counter-Point’de oldu\u011fu gibi diskler muhtemel renk-\u0131\u015f\u0131k efektleriyle örtü\u015febilir ve onlar\u0131 ço\u011faltabilir. \u0130lk olarak 1955’te paris’te salon des réalités nouvelles’te gösterilen bu çal\u0131\u015fma, her ne kadar renk tonu ve ritim arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla insana dair temsiller de bulunsa bile, y\u0131ld\u0131zlar\u0131n uzamsal yörüngeleri fikrini temel alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. malina 1968’de uluslararas\u0131 dergi Leonardo’yu kurmu\u015ftur.<\/p>\n

Frank Malina developed a number of systems in the 1960's to explore dynamic lightforms.
