On the one hand, it is a media-archaeological exploration of Galvani&#8217;s early 19th century experiments on the electrical stimulation of dead animals, which influenced Mary Shelly&#8217;s conception of Frankenstein&#8217;s monster, composed of various dead body parts animated by electricity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Like Damien Hirst&#8217;s animal bodies in formaldehyde, the work is at once horrific and quasi-spiritual.\u00a0 The frog is suspended in clear liquid contained in a glass cube, with a blue ethernet cable leading into an electrodein in its abdomen.
