With his perennial focus on the<br \/>\nchallenges of new technology and science, he is a key figure in contemporary<br \/>\nart. His works, which often have a cultural political background, have always<br \/>\nbeen at the forefront of media art.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Kriesche. Capital + Code,<br \/>\n2008<br \/>In his Capital + Code exhibition, Richard Kriesche homes in on<br \/>\ninterconnections, focusing on the structure of phenomena. In the Aesthetics of<br \/>\nCapital light installation (2008) especially created for the Kunsthaus Graz, he<br \/>\nbathes everything in a technoid computer-blue light. The installation uses eight<br \/>\nprojectors and visualization software (which also sees use in the money markets)<br \/>\nto project market-type fluctuations on the interior wall of the building.
