Putto 2 x 2 x 4

“Rees’s supersized, otherworldly monument is derived from a single frame of the animation that plays on the stadium monitor beside its permanent installation at the Kemper Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. In the animation, a headless, two-bodied creature struggles mindlessly with itself. As the top attempts to shed its base, the base attempts to shed its top, causing the overall form to dance uncontrollably, until a tipping point is reached and the two change roles.” [1]
